    • Hospital News: We purchased (on eBay) a new-to-us delivery bed which should be arriving in May or June and Faith has learned and is teaching our partner clinics to do PCR specimen collection on infants.
    • The Cistern Project: The cistern project goes smoothly forward with some changes in staff.
    • Food Bearing Tree Project: We are preparing an area for our garden project.

    • Steve & Faith are traveling to Scotland, France and the U.S. to visit family and friends and attend some important events.
    • Hospital News: A consistently high inpatient census recently and we were able to move the delivery room into its new space in the hospital addition.
    • Some of the happiest news to share is that IT HAS BEGUN TO RAIN!
    • Nutrition Depot: We are adding space to the building that is used to store the food we receive to distribute to those in the community who meet the criteria.

    • A New Rainwater Collection Project: We started a project that helps folks with smaller houses to get some of the benefits of rainwater collection.

    • Steve & Faith: We thank all of you who prayed for us on our travels. We had a marvelous time. It was the most relaxing vacation we have ever had and we thoroughly enjoyed the time with family and friends.
    • Premature Infant Rescue: May, the surviving twin, who was born prematurely at home and then brought to the hospital. She weighed 3 lbs 4 oz at birth.

    • Hospital Roof Preparations: a cool story about how God looks after us by providing not one but three electricians; all the trusses and purloins for the roof are made and most are painted; we received a grant to cover 25% of the cost.
    • Lespwa: All the visitors we had in September helped us in show our new film project, The Hope.
    • The Cistern Project: We received funds to build several cisterns and hope to get started in October.
    • We are sending out a DVD slideshow to help folks reflect on how we as Americans celebrate the birth of Christ.

    • This newsletter looked at so many things we have to be thankful for this year by giving an overview of the different IMF ministries and projects: Hospital Evangelique, the Food Tree Project, the Widows Home, the Cistern Project, Lespwa, Premature Infant Rescue, as well as the special projects of purchasing a new vehicle and replacing the hospital roof.
